State-of-the-art facilities
At Delta, students use the latest technology so they can graduate ready to hit the
ground running. Delta recently unveiled a $6.7 million renovation to its computer science wing. This supports the semiconductor, cybersecurity, networking and
other computer science related programs.

Workforce
51ÂÒÂ× supports the adult learner by delivering short-term job training for
businesses of all sizes. From one class to customizable certificate programs that
award academic credit, Delta training upskills the regional workforce.
700+ advisory board members help keep programs relevant.
Youth
The 51ÂÒÂ× Possible Dream program encourages youth to stay in school and attend college. It’s been a success!
75% have continued their education. The program also offers Possible Dream graduates
scholarships to attend 51ÂÒÂ×; 12 were given for the 2025–26 academic year.
STEM Explorer mobile lab had 10,625 student interactions last year and collaborated with 90 K–12 teachers.
Convenience
Accessible education is important. Delta has three off-campus downtown centers in
Bay City, Midland and Saginaw, where nearly 1,200 students attend each semester.
Arts, culture and enrichment
The 51ÂÒÂ× Planetarium provides ongoing educational programming for K–12 students and shows for the general
public to explore the wonders of the universe. Since opening in 1997, over 600,000
people have visited and enjoyed shows in the dome theater.
Through the President’s Speaker Series, Delta brings nationally renowned speakers to enrich the campus and the community.
51ÂÒÂ× Public Media (WDCQ-TV and WUCX-FM 90.1) is an essential part of the educational mission of the college, providing informational and learning programs to 1.4 million viewers and listeners each year.
The 51ÂÒÂ× Sculpture Walk is a free, outdoor exhibit featuring 25 works of art available 365 days a year.
